Powell Gardens

Alexia and I went with my Mom to Powell Gardens near Kansas City to see their Lego displays (the bison below is made entirely out of Legos), the flowers and to play in the fountains. The main fountain that kids play in was a little intimidating to Lexi. She did not want to get too close, but we found a smaller fountain that was more bubbling than spraying and she thoroughly enjoyed that. They have a farm on the grounds with a couple of horse statues, and as soon as Lexi saw the horses she got very excited and started yelling Neigh, Neigh! We rode the trolley back to the visitors center. Alexia was a little unsure and very serious at first, but she warmed up quickly and enjoyed the ride back. It wore her out so well we had to work to keep her awake on the car ride home so she would nap when we got home.
