Small Town Fourth of July

We stayed in Vermillion this year for the Fourth of July and my sister and her clan came to visit. We had beautiful weather and celebrated small town style. We went to the park in the morning and then attended the Vermillion fire department's fundraiser in the park in the evening. Although most of the fundraiser was free so not sure how much money they actually raised. The girls had fun in the bouncy houses, riding the "train", and putting out a pretend fire. We attempted a few fireworks in the driveway that scared the girls indoors so we didn't even bother to attempt the actual fireworks after dark. Liz and I went to check out the firework show that Vermillion put on, and they did a decent job. Fun was had by all, even Isaiah.
