Hello Brookings!

This post is very late because our laptop decided to be fussy after we moved. We have been in Brookings for a little over a month now and are just now starting to feel settled in the house. My parents came to help out during the moving process, especially since I had to leave on a work trip 2 days after we moved into the new house. They definitely had the hardest job, keeping Alexia entertained. But I think they had a lot of fun exploring the new house and the town. The pool and the sandbox in the backyard were a big hit with Alexia, and the botanical gardens and the SDSU ice cream were a big hit with Grandma and Grandpa. Alexia is slowly adjusting to the new daycare. She seems to have a lot of fun at the end of the day, but dropping her off in the morning has been painful for all of us.
