Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve is probably my favorite day of the year, and I was very excited to get to spend it at home again this year. Sadly, since we were flying out on Christmas day for Texas we had to drop Annie and Abbie off for boarding in the morning on Christmas Eve. But they got to open their presents from their cousin Margo early. Somehow they definitely knew those packages were for them because they had been sniffing them all week and when Lexi got them out they were immediately in her lap. After dropping off the pups we went to check out a model train display in Aurora. It wasn't huge but nicely done and Lexi loved watching all the trains. We went to Mass early at 4 pm and the girls were adorable in their Christmas outfits. After church we made pizzas, and the girls got to open one present each. Adaline particularly enjoyed the wrapping paper. Then we left cookies, milk and a carrot for Santa and went to bed. It was a fun day.
