K-Prep Graduation

Daycare/preschool did a graduation ceremony in May for Alexia's Kindergarten prep class. They marched in, sang a song, got diplomas and had a slide show with baby pictures and all. I couldn't keep the tears at bay and even the teachers were all crying. Of course the best part was the cake afterwards. It is very bitter sweet. Many of the kids in the class have been in Lexi's cohort for the last 3 years, and Laura and Linea were at Bright Beginnings and then moved to Bright Horizons at the same time she did. Many of them would have gone to kindergarten together, but we will have to say goodbye for good at the end of the summer. It makes all of us a little sad.
