Visit to Santa

Living in a much bigger city means there are a lot more opportunities to see Santa this year. The Fargo parks department has a farm near the city limits with barns and houses and they had the farmhouse all decorated for Christmas and Santa ready to take pictures and hear what they wanted for Christmas. We didn't quite get a smile out of Addi this year, but Lexi was pretty excited to talk to Santa. She asked for the second illustrated Harry Potter book and told Santa that Addi wanted cake for Christmas. In her defense, this is exactly what Addi has made clear to everyone. She desires cake. After seeing Santa, we went to the zoo for their Holiday Nights event. They had lights, hot chocolate, roasting marshmallows and free rides on the (indoor) carousel. Lexi rode many times and Addi finally agreed to sit on the bench with me.
