Easter Weekend Festivities

My parents came to visit for Easter weekend. We got to cheer on Loyola in the final four of the NCAA basketball tournament, which was stressful but fun. They had a good showing but didn't quite make it to the end. Mom made cupcakes with the girls, and we dyed Easter eggs using a new swirly method. Unfortunately, Alexia managed to get a stomach bug Saturday evening and was pretty miserable through Easter. They had fun searching for eggs Easter morning but very little candy was actually consumed. I took a bunch of videos, but sadly, none of them had any sound for some reason. Watching them it feels like we should all be dressed as Charlie Chaplin and they should be in black and white. The weather was not so spring-like, and we got a fair bit of snow and ice, which kept my parents here for an extra day. We were certainly glad to have them around another day.
