Grandma and Grandpa Merkord

Chris's parents came for a couple of weeks over the fourth of July to escape the Texas heat. The girls loved getting to spend time with them, and we took them to the Mecca of Minnesota, Itasca state park. We all walked across the headwaters of the Mississippi and even the puppies joined in the fun. It is a beautiful state park and pretty cool to see the start of such a large, iconic river.
