A Family First, Cross-Country Skiing

This weekend we all tried cross-country skiing for the first time. Some friends of ours took us out to a golf course in town that rents skis and grooms trails. It was a warm day (read 20 degrees F) with no wind and lots of snow. It was a beautiful day for skiing. Everyone had fun. Alexia struggled a little more with the balance and technique, but Addi seemed to be a natural. We were out there for nearly 4 hours. I think we were all hooked. Chris is trying to figure out where to get used skis now. I guess we are working on embracing winter this year.
