Family in Virginia

We went to visit my family in Virginia at the beginning of July. It was our first time seeing my parents new condo, and it had been a while since all of us had been to see my sisters. Needless to say the girls LOVED the pool, and Addi finally got brave enough to swim around on her own with the life jacket (or whatever you call it). It was pretty hot so we had a number of trips to the pool. We got to watch fireworks from my parents balcony, and even caught a glimpse of the national fireworks, which was quite a show. On the fourth, the girls walked in the parade at the condo with the my Dad and the tennis club. They were dragging in the heat. We also got to celebrate my sister's birthday, and attempted to surprise her with a party with some of her friends. The kids enjoyed the pinata and the fireworks. Aunt JoJo has good taste in candy. Otherwise, there was lots of cousin time, and we were all sad to say goodbye.
