Adaline turned 5 last month in the midst of the pandemic. Sadly, we couldn't have a big celebration for her this year as we did when Lexi turned 5. But it was before COVID got out of control, and Pat and Glenn decided to come up to celebrate with her. That made her whole month I think. We also invited two of her friends from pre-K who she already sees everyday to come over and play in the yard. Lily and Louise both made it but actually at different times. It spread out the fun during the day for her. She had a chocolate unicorn cake from Nicole's Bakery in town, and she got a lot of presents. She was pretty surprised to get an American Girl doll from Grandma Josette, but she was super excited about it. Addy (the doll's name) now goes everywhere with Addi. Overall, I think she had a pretty great birthday. So hard to believe she will be heading to kindergarten next year.
