Addi decided she wanted to do her birthday party at Skate City this year. The girls spent a lot of energy zooming around the rink and playing arcade games. Two of her friends from pre-school came (Luisa and Elsie), and a few new friends from school. As part of the birthday package she got a new pair of roller blades, and she liked them a lot better than the regular roller skates. We did the party before her birthday this year, but we celebrated with family and cake on her birthday in the middle of the week. For her birthday, she got a new soccer ball and net for the backyard, and the wrapped ball had her intrigued before she opened it. We had a family soccer game in the backyard that was Addi and Chris against me and Alexia.
