Curling is not something I knew anything about (except that it is in the Olympics) until we moved north. Chris is in a curling league at the curling club in Fargo, and he can reserve a sheet of ice for curling whenever he wants during the season. So we took my parents curling while they were here. I had never been either so it was an adventure for all of us. It was definitely harder than it looks trying to balance and slide a rock across the ice. The winter weather has been super mild this year so we also went out to Buffalo River and hiked the river trail one day. It was so warm the girls didn't even wear their actual winter coats.
