The school district is back to starting the Tuesday after labor day so the girls went back on September 2nd this year. They both get to be the big fish in their buildings this year as Addi is in fourth grade, the last grade in the elementary building, and Alexia is eighth grade. Addi has Sr. Casares, who was Alexia's fourth grade teacher. They were both very excited about that. Alexia was not super excited about her first quarter schedule, but as always she is off to a great start to the year. They were both very excited to get back to school this year and see their friends at Back to School night.
