Instead of playing rec soccer this fall, Addi decided she wanted to try joining a more competitive team. A friend recommended Dakota Fusion. She really liked her coach, and they did a lot of practicing. However, they only ended up playing one tournament that was in Minneapolis. We had to drive down early on Friday afternoon for a Friday evening game. The first time she played under the lights. They lost that game. They had one game on Saturday, which they also lost. We did a little exploring southwest Minneapolis suburbs during the day. Their last game was on Sunday morning against a Fargo team, which they did win. She is playing up a grade so gets to play with some girls who are very good. By the end of the season she was feeling a little more comfortable and part of the team. We will see what she decides to do next spring, but it she is fun to watch her play.
