Native American Day

In South Dakota, Columbus Day has rightfully become Native American Day and is a state holiday along with the federal holiday. In honor of Native American Day, Alexia and I went to the Children's museum to watch a demonstration from Dallas Chief Eagle on Hoop Dancing. It was pretty amazing to watch. He had many of the kids participating and had them captivated for almost an hour, which is no small feat in my mind. As always she loved the day at the museum.
