We celebrated Addi's birthday this year with a family celebration at home. She chose mustard chicken, broccoli and noodles with chocolate cake and pink frosting for her birthday dinner. Then over the weekend we went to the Minnesota Zoo near Minneapolis to see the Jack-o-lantern Spooktacular and the zoo. The pumpkins were impressive and the zoo was a hit. But they didn't have polar bears, which Addi was really hoping to see. I think she had a pretty good birthday despite the lack of white bears.
