Cabin Fever

March in northern Minnesota is my least favorite month. Just when I think things should be getting warm it keeps snowing. It was really a pretty mild winter this year, and we did start to get a decent warm up lately. We have made some treks out of the house to find signs of spring. We took a walk along the river prior to flood stage and we found 100,000s of geese and swans all heading north. Addi was determined to find a Brown-headed Cowbird, and Lexi worked on climbing trees. We've also been taking bike rides and walks as often as we can while also trying to avoid people. Thank goodness for a little fresh air. The snow has mostly melted but that hasn't stopped the flurries yet.
