The high school did a week long track and field practice and then mini track meet for the elementary grades, and Alexia decided to try it out. They did most events including long jump, high jump, 100 m dash 200 m dash, 400 m dash, and 4 X 100 m relay. They didn't do the shot put, but the did a softball throw instead. They gave ribbons to the top 6 in each event for each grade (boys and girls). Lexi was 6th in the 100 m dash. She had a lot of fun, and it was fun to get to cheer her on at a track meet.
