Friends from the land of tiny states

We had some good friends from grad school visit for a couple of days at the end of July. They currently live in Connecticut, but are from MN and WI so were in the neighborhood visiting family. Leland and Lexi are not too far apart in age and had fun playing together. I think Leland enjoyed being the older, wiser one though. Aubrey was very patient with the pre-schooler craziness and helped organize the coloring of the cardboard house. As always the fish tank was also a big hit. It was wonderful to catch up with old friends but always a little bittersweet in the end. We miss them and wished we all lived much closer.
