Christmas Eve is always my favorite day of the year. This year it was pretty relaxed. We did schedule a Christmas Eve Merkord-Ahlering-Anderson recital via Zoom. Alexia played piano, I played my flute, my Dad played the guitar and my sister played the trumpet. It was fun but sadly I forgot to record it. The girls got dressed up as soon as they got out of bed. Addi had been waiting to wear her Christmas dress for months! We did homemade pizza for dinner and the girls opened one present each. Alexia contemplated trying to stay up for Santa but opted for bed instead. We were all asleep by 10 this year.
