We have two small outdoor skating rinks just 2 blocks down the street and we got some free ice skates from the school last year. We have such nice weather this winter we went down to try them out last weekend. With her roller skating practice, Alexia started out much better this year, and Addi got a LOT better just in the hour we were there. It is pretty nice to have free skating rinks all over town because that way they are never crowded with people. Although I don't know how often the smooth the ice. Addi did not want to leave.
