We had a pretty low key Thanksgiving this year. Alexia and I did a virtual Burn the Bird 5k and some of my family joined in, in Virginia. We had a dusting of snow for the scenery, and Chris and Addi dropped us off down near the river and we ran the 3.1 miles home along the river. Alexia ran nearly the whole way, and she got a lot of laughs, smiles and waves from people passing by because of her hat. One guy even slowed down and waited for us to run by to say he liked her hat. We used zoom to prepare food with my mom and sisters. It worked ok, but definitely isn't the same as being in person. Chris smoked our turkey, which turned out great. He got a remote thermometer and had more fun just tracking the temperature I think. We had a very nice fall so really the weather was great!
