Alexia's Covid Birthday - Number 2

Poor Alexia had another Covid birthday again this year, and this time it was because almost all of us actually HAD Covid. Alexia was the first to fall from school, and she was at least better and able to go back to school before her birthday. But then it was Chris, then Addi and finally me (after just having recovered from pneumonia). Fortunately, the symptoms were all very mild. Alexia had the most issue with breathing and some congestion but it was short lived. Chris and I both felt the extreme exhaustion. By the beginning of February we will all mostly recovered. For her birthday this year though she got to move into her own room and get her ears pierced. So she was pretty excited about that even if she didn't get to spend it with friends. We didn't get to have her ears pierced until after we all recovered, and it was the first adventure to the mall in a long time. We also had a lovely mother-daughter lunch. I can't believe she is a decade old already!
