My parents came to visit for Christmas this year. It was wonderful to have them around. The girls played a lot of games and made cookies with Grandma, and my Dad even came skiing with us one evening. We broke down and bought cross country skis this fall, and this was our first time testing them out this winter. We tried the only trail in town that was supposed to be lit at night, but there were no extra lights. We managed to find our way around a small loop right near the Hjemkomst center but didn't really get much farther. We also managed a pasta palooza making ravioli for New Years.
