The girls last day of first and fifth grade was the Friday before Memorial Day this year. They were both way more sad than they were excited, and I don't blame them. They had fantastic teachers this year (Adaline - Maestra Aleman; Alexia - Maestra Osland). It was especially sad for Addi because she will not be going back to Ellen Hopkins in the fall. They moved the Spanish Immersion program to Probstfield, a different elementary building. Her friends will all be there, but the school will look very different.
