My parents came to visit to enjoy the cool MN summer days. I personally wish they would have brought some heat with them. While they were here we went to check out the troll art installation over in Detroit Lakes. It was set us as a hunt to find the trolls and decode a word with clues from the trolls to find the hidden golden rabbit. They were built by a Danish artist from recycled materials and put along paths in the woods to encourage people to get outside and unplug. The trolls were pretty cool. We found 5 of them and all of the magic mirror portals on the first day, but one of the trolls was out at Detroit Mountain which was closed for a concert that night. So we couldn't go find it. It turns out the Golden Rabbit was also out there. So Mom, Addi, and I went back the next day to see the last troll and find the golden rabbit. It was a fun way to spend the weekend as the weather was pretty nice to be outside.
