Alexia missed orchestra camp this summer while we were in NC, but she did get to play the national anthem with the orchestra at the Twins game before school started. We all rode down on the bus early in the morning because it was an afternoon game. They rehearsed under an overpass next to the stadium, and then they had to wait underneath the stadium until it was time to play. I took Addi and Mac to sit in the bleachers and watch while Chris, Brad, and Neely helped corral kids and instruments onto the field. They sounded great, and it was fun to get to watch them play. We got to say for most of the game, and they were playing the Royals so I definitely pulled out my KC gear. The Royals won, and we all rode the bus home very tired.
