We spent Christmas at home this year with no other family visiting. It was very low key and actually pretty relaxing. We decorated sugar cookies in the morning. Chris prepped tamales for Christmas dinner, and we attended the Christmas Eve service at Gethsemane at 4:30. Alexia has volunteered to be the narrator for the Christmas pageant, and Adaline signed up to be the sheep, which she was very excited about. As always it was a lovely service, and Adaline definitely stole the show with her sheep performance. She scurried up the aisle nearly on all fours, and then proceeded to wander around the alter pretending to be a sheep while the rest of the scene was very solemn. The girls opened their Christmas presents to each other before heading to bed to wait for Santa.
