Holidays in Fargo/Moorhead

The time between Thanksgiving and Christmas is one of my favorites. There are always a lot of holiday events and activities around town, and it is cozy in the house with all the Christmas decorations. Addi made the most of the holiday decorations this year frequently cozying up by the fire with Abbie and a book. Instead of the Holiday Pops or the Nutcracker, this year we went to see NDSU's holiday kid theater performance of the Night before Christmas. It was very silly but the girls enjoyed it. I think it really got Addi's wheels turning about theater, especially since she had recently been chosen to play the Genie in the upcoming school play Aladdin. We went downtown and enjoyed the Christmas decorations while eating ice cream after the play. The girls also took part in the annual Christmas piano recital and played wonderfully. Addi played two sing along songs, and Alexia did a great job playing Colors of the Wind. It was a joyful holiday season.
