Swimming Lessons

We started swimming lessons with Alexia this week. The only smiles we got were before we got in the water. She was very interested in watching all the kids in the lessons before her, but when it came time for her to be in the water, she was very nervous. She had a death grip on us. She handled it pretty well but she was clearly bothered by the whole situation. It helped that the instructor had toys for them to play with. I guess it is a big leap from a bath tub to a swimming pool. Hopefully, as the lessons go on she will enjoy them more. We also hope the weather warms up because going from a wet warm pool to a cold car seat requires a lot of prep time.
