The last leg of our trip before heading home was taking another ferry from Nanaimo to Vancouver. We spent the morning and early afternoon at the aquarium in Vancouver because the anthropology museum I wanted to go to was closed for earthquake renovations. Everywhere on the Olympic peninsula had signs for Tsunami evacuation routes and information about what to do in case of an earthquake. Apparently the fault line in that area is way overdue for big one. We then drove down and stayed the night in the US north of Seattle. We got up early the next morning and did a very quick visit to the Pike Place Market so the girls could see it. Neither of them wanted to stand next to the fish for a picture, but I made them do it. The original starbucks already had a line around the block. Then we had to hit the road to start the drive home. We managed to make it all the way to Billings that night, and then we drove from Billings to home the next day. We were all exhausted when we got home, but we had a great time.
