Summer 2022 was good to us, and it was VERY busy. The girls started off with a number of camps and swimming lessons. Addi did an art class at MSUM called Gelli Printing and loved it. She got to choose her favorite piece to be hung alongside other student's art in a local coffee shop. Hers is the one with the smiley face. We made a quick trip to Brookings to visit friends, get some new native plants, and visit the Children's museum. Still a pretty fun place. We had a low key Fourth of July watching fireworks from the Menards parking lot, and we walked in a parade to campaign for a friend running for Minnesota State Senate. We went to a wedding in Iowa City where the girls went on a giant sloth scavenger hunt all over town and we got some good dancing in. The dogs got lots of extra loving in, and the girls got a TON of swimming in this summer. Addi made a huge progress on her swimming and was tall enough and brave enough to go down the big water slides this summer. She probably did that hundreds of times this summer. We took two other big trips, but I will have those for different posts. As always, summer went by way too quickly.
