At the beginning of August, Chris's grandmother, Norma, came to visit with his parents. She had come to visit us in Brookings, but had not been to Minnesota yet. At 96 we were very impressed she made the trek, and the girls were happy to see her. We were able to see her in March for the first time in a few years so it was nice to see her again so soon. Chris gave her a tour of his office, lecture halls, and all the animals in the Biology department on campus, and they all went to visit the zoo as well. It was wonderful to have them all here.
