Alexia had her first bottle this weekend. I have been pumping to store up some milk, but this weekend we decided to introduce a bottle. She will have to take a bottle soon at day care anyway. According to the books, we have waited too long and she will refuse the bottle. However, she sucks on anything that gets near her mouth and loves her pacifier. So I didn't think a bottle would be too much of a problem for her. And it wasn't. Chris gave her the bottle, and she sucked that thing down! She drank a 4 oz bottle in about 5 minutes. The problem may come if she decides she doesn't want to nurse anymore, but hopefully that won't be the case.
