The last day in New York was the hottest (although it was in the 90s every day). It got to 102 that day. We got up early and went to see a few things in Central Park. They said it was the hottest day in Central Park since some time in the 1880s. The girls enjoyed the park, and it was too bad it was so hot. I think they would have enjoyed getting to explore it more without being so miserably hot. We walked across the middle checking out some of the most famous spots. Then we took the subway to the Village to poke around some shops. The memorial in front of the Stonewall Inn was all decked out for pride. We stopped in a few shops but didn't have too much luck and then just got overheated so we headed back to the hotel. We stayed cool in the afternoon at the hotel, and then got ready for the big night on Broadway. We went to get Indian food near Times Square and then went to see Wicked. It was an amazing show. Addi was determined to wear her all green outfit even though it was a long sleeve velvet dress and scarf. We walked back to the hotel after the show through Times Square all lit up. It was still PACKED with people despite the heat.
