Alexia turned 13 this year. It is hard to believe we actually have a teenager in the house now. She can officially sit in the front seat now, but probably more important to her we got her a phone this year. She has been most excited about texting her friends and listening to music through Spotify. We got up early for her to open presents because she had a ski meet all day, and we wanted her to be able to take her phone with her. Addi got up super early to make her muffins. She was surprised, but she is very like me in her emotional expression. There was no shrieking for joy. :-) We are definitely raising Minnesotans because her request for her birthday dinner was tater tot hotdish with brownies and ice cream for dessert. Easy enough to accommodate. We had to wait a couple of weeks to do a birthday party with a few friends because they all have such busy schedules. We still didn't even get them all there. She chose to do a crafting workshop at Unglued. They made clay animals and terrariums.
